The NCKUAANA President Chao Nee Memorial Scholarship Committee has completed its evaluation of the 2009 scholarship applicants. Below are the selected recipients, whose outstanding accomplishments rendered them all exceptionally competitive candidates.

• Tiffany Chu (朱為亭) - a Junior student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, majoring in Architecture & minor in Comparative Media Studies. She is the daughter of Jeng-Kang Chu (朱正鋼,1978 Metallurgy & Materials Engineering), member of CKUAA - GNY.
• Caitlin Chien Clerkin (家玲。倩。Clerkin) – a Sophomore at Bowdoin College, with a major in Classic Archaeology & minor in Film Studies. Daughter of Hsieh Chiao Chien Clerkin (谢巧倩, 1977 Architecture), member of CKUAA – SCA
• Andy Liu (劉彦迪)- a Columbia University Sophomore, majoring in Computer Science with Premedical Concentration. Son of Mau-Loong Liu (劉茂隆﹐1978 Civil Engineering), member of CKUAA - GNY.

The $1,000 scholarship and a framed award certificate will be presented to each recipient at the annual NCKUAANA local chapter meetings to which their parents belong.
