Biography

Jimmy Loh was born in Taipei, Taiwan. When he was 14 years old he immigrated to the Unites States along with his parents.  He attended high school in Arlington, VA, and later would build his own life and family in Virginia as well.

Being a 2nd generation immigrant, having a strong work ethic was instilled in him early on from his parents. During his high school years he worked part time in a financial company after school. But this was only the beginning. Jimmy quickly blended his financial skills with his passion for technology.

During the early 1980s, when personal computers were beginning to gain popularity, Jimmy was able to apply his computer skills he attained in school, to write programs that generate financial calculations that oversee over $10 millions of transactions.  After high school, Jimmy was recruited by the owner to work at his 2nd business doing system programming.  Jimmy worked full time while going to college full time and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration from the George Washington University in 4 years.

Jimmy went on to work for the Department of Labor as a contractor and later became a government employee for 7 years.  During his time as a federal employee, Jimmy helped the Department of Labor migrate from their old main frame system into the new three tier system.

Jimmy then went to work for the Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters Corporation) leading a twenty-five member technical team as business liaison in a strategic enterprise-wide branding initiative that consolidated seven division sites into a key marketing channel for customers, investors and the media.  Site visits to www.Thomson.com increased fourfold as a result.

Jimmy is now the President and CEO of the WeMed Services Inc., a company that focus on providing the best IT solutions to the government, commercial and non-profit organizations.
